Alloy Steel Base Rolls

Unlike cast iron rolls, these rolls have heat treat­ ment application during its production. Due to their tough behavior, the rolls are very suitable far light section milis and medium section milis where the deep grooves are applied far roll pass design.

The rolls receive a multi-stage, high temperature heat treatment to obtain a combination of hardness, toughness and wear resistance necessary far their particular application.
